This month’s IEEE Spectrum feature is an article we wrote with our advisor Bruce Schneier expanding our previous exploration of the Decoupling Principle. As we discussed before, the Decoupling Principle is at the heart of many of the things we’ve built at INVISV, and we think it’s the right architecture for modern privacy and security.
The article considers how this architecture goes beyond just specific network services and can be thought of as the modern architecture for all cloud privacy and security. It’s a way we can gain the benefits of the cloud while protecting against misuse of our data. We think it’s the way cloud services should be built going forward, and are heartened that more and more people are starting to think about how they can use the decoupling approach.
